[ The video opens with a particularly irritated Rin. She's apparently sitting in some bench, silently staring at the screen with a twitch on her burrowed eyebrows. ]

I need to ask you, the more experienced people that currently have no choice but to live here, about a certain Pokémon that is giving me trouble.

[ And just after saying this she focuses on the little yellow thing resting over her lap. It's...well, it looks like a tiny duck, strange arms somewhat over its head. ]

I guess it does live to its name; Psyduck, although I have not seen anything related to the first portion. I mean, it's a duck! And not a very smart one to begin with.

[ Rin moves the camera back to herself. ]

I'll ask this just once. What on Earth is this thing supposed to do!? All it has done since hatching is moaning and eating, and then tripping every three steps. I could really use some advice. I've asked around but it doesn't make sens-

Oh great, it woke up again. Someone help me!

[ Or the Psyduck. Actually yeah, someone help the Psyduck. ]

[Like Shirou is going to try it himself after all this time in this world. Suddenly a Drifblim is out there.]

[Incoming tendrils!]

[ Well that helps. ]

[ She and the Psyduck trade glances for a moment. ]

I mean, look at those eyes!

[ So she's going to pet him...slowly. When it's calm enough she takes it from the vines and hold him not much differently to how you would hold a baby.

Stupid duck doing stupid things. ]

I think it's falling asle-AUHG

[ Yeah, pull Rin's hair, Psyduck. ]

A superior duck! I know Psyduck are kind of... like that... But you should keep hope alive! For the future!

... and, um... Just try to imagine those eyes turning into a strong, piercing gaze!

You shouldn't depend on Pokémon so much, Shirou.

[ Rin's head is tilted to a side as the Psyduck is still on possession of a lock of hair. ]

I am handling this just f-fine.

Not from where I'm standing. You look like you need the help.

It looks like a pretty lost hope to me.

[ She moves the camera to point at the Psyduck, walking along the bench he's sharing with Rin. It makes a beeline for the edge, balances dangerously before turning around...only to fall face first on the bench. At least is not the ground? ]

Does it even do something? Like, ever?

Have a little faith, you!

[ Rin takes out her Pokéball, and lets Eevee out, who apparently understands the situation quickly, as it doesn't try to pounce her owner to submission. Good.

Sitting on the bench again, Rin lowers the still awake Psyduck on the bench as Eevee jumps up, doing the part of a fuzzy pillow for him.

Moments later the little Psyduck is out like a light. ]

...phew.

If it's going to cause that much of a problem just keep it inside the Pokeball.

...Huh. That was clever. But you relied on your Pokémon.

Er, if he just hatched, it'll be some time before--

Ah! You could use him to express your confusion when replying to someone else's video feed?

Yeah, but I didn't force it to sleep. I just thought of a nicer way to make it happen.

And now...

[ Now she can take the other Pokéball and quietly put Psyduck in. She'll have to deal with the little duck later, she's sure of it. But not for now. ]

Alright, nice work Eevee.

[ Headpats for everyone! Or just Eevee, alright. ]

Well, um. I guess you do have a point.

It's good to see you're adapting well.

[ Have a close up on the Psuducs' face.

Look at those stone cold, dead, eyes, staring at you soul.

Emotionless. Piercing. All seeing.

Empty.

Then back at Rin. ]

Yeah...I'm not so convinced.

I want it to be quiet once I do. Sleeping if possible.

--EEK!

[Crow doesn't appear to be surprised in the slightest. In fact, he might be a little amused.]

Oh yeah, those always cause trouble! Better get used to it.
